My hand is more accurate than my eye. For some obstacles
I experienced last week, an illuminated magnifier up for the "try".
I was amazed!
magnification x 1, 75 is sufficient to see details invisible to the naked eye (well, at least mine. I'm nearsighted. I see almost perfectly (at 14 cm distance despite my 40 years) ).
short, once put under the microscope, I could reach with my brush, unpainted areas of the figures, I would not even try to fill without, because I do not even see!
Similarly, I was able to rectify a mustache and details of changing faces significant expressions of the characters.
Where I was most surprised is that last second of accommodation needed, the brush tip (so my hand) allows you easily and without tremor, with details deemed inaccessible without this magnification.
I emphasize time accommodation. Every time you switch your color to your figurine held under the microscope, it takes time. If you rush, you go sticking your brush anywhere because without this second adaptation, the distances are completely distorted by the lens.
By cons, this permanent passage of vision with and without the magnifying glass is quite tiring. I do not think we can use this tool a long time in a row. To me, the migraine would not be long. Therefore the book for details difficult or precise finish.
I must admit that this loop allowed me stuck. I never thought my hand would have sufficient precision to paint things that my eye could not perceive.
is my mom who will be happy. It will finally see one of her gift other than at a flea market booth.
